On this review edition of All About Frome,
we look back just 6 months to an item we broadcast in October 2021 about the end of the furlough scheme, the Universal Credit cuts and the eviction protection scheme. With Bob Ashford, Fair Frome, Steve Tanner, Fair Housing for Frome, Iona Fitzgerald, Citizens Advice Mendip and Phil Gray, Christians Against Poverty.
Music from Pee Wee Ellis
Also, how a new game POMETHEUS, designed by a local maths teacher to rival Chess
is helping refugees in Poland.
Message from Christopher Curtis:
“We are delighted to support the Cheese and Grain events for Ukraine at the end of this month and hope we can help in any way possible. Musicians who give their time for free are welcome to take home a complimentary set of Prometheus for their family and friends. The Team at Prometheus stand side by side with children and their families in Ukraine.
If any businesses in Frome wish to sponsor additional sets of Prometheus being sent to Ukraine children in Poland they are welcome to contact me on 07841 840501.”
All About Frome starts a new season on May 3rd.
