Music Expo 18 aims to broaden community connections within music industries, festivals and modern platforms of promotion. FromeFM looks back at Music Expo 18, held at the Cheese & Grain venue in Frome, Somerset. Alex Hawkins chats with musicians, music producers, record label owners and discusses the forming of community radio with Sue Ayton. We hear how platforms for music and spoken word evolve through ‘Visual Radio Arts’, discover how Michael Eavis still loves music at a grassroots level and how artists manage in the digital age of music production.
