Saturday nights on Frome FM are about to take on a new look as two new shows will air every four weeks, starting from 1st November.

Teenage Kicks is a brand new teen magazine show with music, chat, hot topics and reviews! Presented by Steph and Bron, both teenagers themselves, this promises to be an exciting new addition to programming on Frome FM.

On air from 6pm, both girls, who attend Frome Community College, are looking forward to their new challenge and said, “ We’re busy planning our first show at the moment and we’re really excited to be bringing this teen show to Frome FM.

Hopefully we can build up a brilliant following over the next few weeks and attract some new listeners to the radio station!”

The second new show, Club Tropicana, will air from 7pm, and will pay homage to the music of the 1980s. Presented by Ida and Nicola, it promises to fill our homes with plenty of nostalgia. Ida commented, “It’s going to be a show full of fantastic music, which is bound to bring back memories for us both as we were teenagers in the eighties. We’re massive fans of 1980s bands and look forward to revisiting their music, as well as some of the more eclectic tracks of that time. And our first show will feature music that our soon to be listeners have already requested via our social media pages. We can’t wait to get started!”
