This month’s Different Sounds show is a real treat for lovers of the rare, the esoteric and the weird. Host Ian Leak interviews Jonny Trunk, owner and founder of what has been described as Britain’s most consistently intriguing record label, Trunk Records.

Trunk Records is a British independent record label, which specialises mainly in lost film scores, unreleased TV music, library music, old advertising jingles, art, sexploitation and kitsch releases.

In an extended interview, Jonny talks about his label, his love of the unusual and his projects with the legends of children’s TV, Oliver Postgate and Peter Firmin, creators of Bagpuss, The Clangers and Ivor the Engine.
