There’s much to love here, the Britpop heroes who had classic hits with Staying Out for the Summer and Good Enough have reinvented themselves with a brilliant new album Stand Upright In A Cool Place. The new songs mix dark subjects – bitter break ups, the death of a friend – with their stunning sun-soaked harmonies, think Crosby, Stills & Nash meets Fleet Foxes.

On April 6th 2013, at the Westway Cinema, Dodgy played an acoustic set to help raise money for the cinema’s digital fundraising campaign. Ian Leek caught up with the band before the gig to have a chat.
