Travels and Travellers
We hear stories from local people who have been on, or sometimes planning, journeys on land, water, by bicycle, walking, in a kayak, and by train. There are quite a lot of people in Frome who have done and are doing some really interesting journeys. If you have been on an interesting journey you would like to share your journey, please get in touch.
Hosted by Mike Grenville who is mostly a cyclist - both road and offroad, and his favourite is what is now called bikepacking - cycling and camping. He's done many short trips in the UK and some longer trips including along the Iron Curtain, and across France.
The show is broadcast on the 2nd Sunday of the month at 2pm and repeated on the 4th Thursday monthly at 15.00.

In the summer of 2024, Andy Jennings cycled 4,638 miles in 85 days mostly off-road along the Euopean Divide Trail from Norway to Portugal. He averaged 67 miles and 925 metres climb a day and a total ascent of 64,000 metres. Hear about his remarkable journey.
