Fuse is presented by the music journalist and broadcaster, Debra Richards. It focuses on the galaxy of new releases from artists who make music that is an authentic expression of their experiences and inspirations. Many of these musicians have studied jazz but the sound they create may reflect folk, dance, experimental or many other genres more than traditional jazz. The idea of the show is to play beautiful new music that stretches the imagination and takes the listener on a journey. It shines a light on the expanding number of women refreshing music right now and also covers artists from Europe as well as America, Africa and Asia and some closer to home. There is always time for a jazz classic on Fuse too.
