New Show - The Space Folk Horror Lounge.
There’s a brand new show on FromeFM tonight: The Space Folk Horror Lounge, presented by Darren Giddings.
Darren will be promoting new and recent work by artists – many of them in the Bristol-Yeovil-Frome triangle – who are making music inspired by folklore and the space-age as filtered through the likes of the BBC Radiophonic Workshop, 1970s horror films and the television test-card.
Enter the Space Folk Horror Lounge, for an hour of ‘wyrd’ and wonderful music, and racket inspired by the strange background music of a 60s/70s/80s childhood. – Turn left at the electricity pylon and head for the Wicker Man ….’
