Heritage rock artist Jo Burt has shared stages and recording studios around the world with some of the biggest names in music: Freddie Mercury, The Troggs and Black Sabbath are just three of the credits to his name. Jo talked to Frome College’s music tech students about some of his experiences, ahead of his upcoming series of acoustic shows which begin this week, and include a concert in Mells on Friday, 15th November. Rebellious Jukebox – 10th October
Frome singer songwriter Sara Vian came in to FromeFM with her guitar and performed three songs, which you can hear on this week’s Rebellious Jukebox show. You can also hear Sara talk about what shes been up to since the launch of her album, Beautiful Soul, in 2016, including the setting up of the Frome Music Industry Network. This is a monthly networking event for musicians and all industries loosely connected with the music business, held upstairs at the Three Swans in King Street, Frome, on the fourth Thursday of the month.
