On this July 4th edition of All About Frome,
we have real live Americans in the studio and a recorded podcast direct from Connecticut, USA. Frome residents, Pammy Lewis and John Nelson talk about their take on the UK and their motherland over 20 years after they took the plunge and moved to Britain.
There’s news of some new café meetings at the Good Heart to help people get through the issues caused by the onset of the menopause from Kate Foster who’s also doing research for a book on the subject.
And we also look at some of the events coming up at the first weekend of the Festival including the Food Feast and we also hear about the plans for Broadway Community Gardens, recently bought by the Council for the benefit of the people of Frome.
And there’s a clip from John Hegley – stand-up comedian and poet who’s bringing his show to Frome right at the end of the festival on July 16th.
