Sextus Tarquinius, the Roman prince, is determined to take Lucrece, his friend’s wife, either with or without her consent. The faithful Lucrece must use everything in her power to try and dissuade him, but what can she do – Sextus is a prince and used to getting his own way on everything.
Shakespeare’s narrative poem is as relevent today as it was 400 or even 2000 years ago.
In this co-production, the lead parts of Lucrece and Sextus Tarquinius are played by Tina Waller and Michael Hoskinson.
