Anni joined FromeFM around this time last year with no previous experience of community radio and she was soon making her own programme KIS lifestyle twice a month, interviewing local people who like to Keep It Simple and enjoy an enhanced sense of wellbeing. Anni and her guests talk about how to approach life’s challenges and be better equipped to achieve lasting change in the most positive ways possible.
If you had your own radio show, what would it be? Music or talk based or a bit of both? A regular monthly show or a one-off promoting a community group that you help with?
Well now is your chance! FromeFM have openings for budding radio presenters for either music shows or talk shows about any subject of interest to the local community in Frome and to the wider internet audience. You’ll get plenty of help learning the ropes before the excitement of pre-recording your first show.
If you want to find out more just visit the FromeFM website www.fromefm.co.uk click on the ‘Get Involved’ tab and fill in the on-line form or email email@example.com with your ideas or just pop in to the studio in the Old Fire Station, Christchurch Street West on a Saturday or Sunday.
Clips from FromeFM are being included in BBC Bristol’s new programme on community radio starting in January…so your new show could be part of this too.
