Lesley Hooper – Frome Refresh  Lesley Hooper talks about Frome Refresh, which provides schoolchildren in need with health and hygiene products. Donation points for toiletries are at The Town Hall, Superdrug, Cooper and Tanner (office on the Bridge).

What to donate? In order of need:

  1. Kids’ shampoo and shower gel
  2. Toothbrushes
  3. Boys’ toiletry products (body wash etc)
  4. Sanitary towels (discreet packs!)

Tricia Golinski – walking festival  Tricia Golinski talks about the Frome Walking Festival which takes place on the weekend of November 9/10. All sorts of walks are available. Lenka Grimes – Multicultural Festival  Lenka Grimes talks about Multicultural Frome, which is happening at the Cheese and Grain on Sunday November 10 from 12 to 3pm. Besides lots of food, there’s dancing, arts and crafts, and games.  Lenka also describes the October half term events that Frome Children’s Festival and Fair Frome lunches are presenting.
