Anna Francis, Resilience Manager at FTC, talks about the new climate panels that are happening every Tuesday from the 12th November and how Frome can meet the targets set following the climate emergency.

The first of the climate panels starts on Tuesday 12th November 19.00-21.00 at Frome Town Hall where the focus is on energy.

This is an opportunity for residents of Frome to come along and voice their ideas.

There is also a climate summit at Mendip District Council in Shepton Mallet on the 23rd November

Beccy Byrne, marketing and communications officer at FTC, talks about (dare we say it) Christmas in Frome; when the lights are being turned on, and the fun and activities that will be going on around the town centre on the evening of 29th November, as well as the Frome Big Christmas Get Together which happens on the 25th December.

There are lots of free workshops happening with Frome Lanterns to the lead up to the Christmas lights switch on, with the first being held this Saturday 26th October at Holy Trinity Church.

Michael Hackett and Ric Wharton talk about their show coming to the Silk Mill this Saturday. It’s a sell out show, but do not fear, there will be a Christmas special on the 29th November. Tickets for this show will be available as of this afternoon (22.10.19)
