Up to 40,000 visitors are expected through the gates of RNAS Yeovilton on Saturday 13th July for the 2019 Yeovilton Air Day. It’s set to be an amazing show and we’ve got a pair of tickets to give away to some lucky listeners of FromeFM.

There will be over 5 hours of spectacular flying displays and the perfect opportunity to explore the extensive static display, a huge array of ground attractions, Service displays, trade stalls and arena displays. For the thrill seekers, there will be simulators, fairground rides and helicopter pleasure flights to enjoy!

This year’s Commando Assault Finale will include four of CHF’s Merlin transport helicopters that support Royal Marines operations worldwide, a pair of Hawk T1 jet trainers from No 736 NAS – the Royal Navy’s Aggressor Squadron and a pair of maritime Wildcats. These fixed and rotary-winged assets will combine with Royal Marine Commandos, all-terrain vehicles and artillery with bursts of pyrotechnics. The set piece capability demonstration will culminate in the jaw-dropping Wall of Fire to give Air Day the most epic of endings.
