IN THIS WEEK’S SHOW

Teachers, pupils and parents from Hayesdown First School in Frome held their first Music Festival on Tuesday. It was to raise awareness of  the benefits of having more musical experiences in the school and we hear from some of the teachers about their challenge to involve more pupils and parents in music through the curriculum.

The All About Frome team went along to record a special edition of the show. It was going to be live, but the technical gremlins got in the way so we put an edited version out at 6pm that day. You will find that podcast on the All About Frome page on this website.

Thanks to the usual suspects for crewing the event; Julia Wellard, Phil Davey and Julian Crawley and to all the teachers, and pupils at Hayesdown School for making it a very enjoyable event. We hope this comes over during the programme.
