First up though is the Different Sounds Christmas show next weekend!

Ian’s guests on the show are David Brett from the Flying Pickets, who had a Christmas number one in 1983 with Only You; Lala Brooks, lead singer with Phil Spector’s The Crystals, whose Santa Claus is Coming to Town is on the Spector Christmas album; Dave Hill, lead guitarist and founder member of Slade; and Jimmy Fearnley, pianist and accordion player with The Pogues. It’s Jimmy’s piano arrangement that starts Fairytale of New York.
