Different Sounds starts the year with two very special guests.

Joining Ian for a live phone interview is the multi talented singer songwriter, Alex Cornish.

Alex has received widespread airplay on Radio Two and has supported, among others Alison Moyet, (including a gig at the Royal Albert Hall). He recently toured with Attractions keyboardist Steve Nieve. Alex has very kindly recorded a couple of exclusive session tracks for the show.

Ian’s second guest is Sean O Hagan lead singer, songwriter and instrumentalist from one of Britain’s best bands, The High Llamas. Sean will talk about the band’s new album Here Come the Rattling Trees.
