Station Manager Phil has been the driving force behind FromeFM since 2006 and we are delighted that he has been nominated for the Frome Times Person of the year 2012.

2012 was a milestone for the station as it was granted a licence from industry regulator Ofcom to broadcast live on  96.6FM allowing the people of Frome to listen from radios in their homes, cars, and in the workplace rather than only on-line.

Without Phil there would be no FromeFM and without FromeFM the ability for local community groups to promote themselves and get their voice heard would be greatly reduced.
