FromeFM have just received their new frequency 96.6 FM. 

Our picture shows FromeFM Broadcast Engineer Andrew Bryant on the roof of the Memorial Theatre checking out the site for the Link Antenna.

FromeFM Station manager Phil Moakes said “Our transmitter is going up on the roof of the Memorial Theatre in May and we will be starting test transmissions on the new frequency 96.6FM towards the end of May.  We hope to be on air in time to cover the Olympic torch coming through Frome on 22^ndMay.” 

“During the test transmission period we are not allowed to broadcast any advertising.  Our sponsors will use this time to record new adverts and we will be inviting a limited number of new sponsors on board ready for our launch at the end of June in time for the Frome Festival.”
